Jessica reunites with her daughter Alicia
Part 2: Nearly a month has passed since Jessica reunited with her daughter. Here's the latest.
Nearly a month has passed since Jessica reunited with her daughter Alicia and she called to provide a kind update for my readers. If you haven’t read Part One, please click here to get acquainted with Jessia’s reunion.
Alicia was reunited with her mother after her father's recent death from myocarditis.
Jessica had been a loving wife and mother, and as we learned in Part 1, Paul had an affair and became hostile towards Jessica when she confronted him about her knowledge of the affair with his former college girlfriend during a heated argument; he pushed her down, and she sprung her ankle, and she hit him, and both were charged for spousal abuse. Later all charges were dropped against Jessica, and Paul served 60 days in jail.
I wrote about other vital points in Part One, which led to Parental Alienation against Jessica, and invited your inquiry to part one.
I’m writing to continue sharing Jessica's thoughts and note my respect for Alicia losing her father. I pray Jessica and Alicia will share a hopeful future during her teen years and beyond.
Personally speaking, Jessica's former alienation from Paul was a classic example of Parental Alienation, and those of us who endure PA recognize this as fact.
Jessica granted permission for me to share the following points.
Paul told his daughter that her mother ran off with a man and cheated on her father, which was a key reason they lived apart. Jessica had to tell her the truth and that her father had an affair, not her mother.
Paul told Alicia that her mother stole $40,000.00 from Paul, and she had to go to prison for this act. Jessica let Alicia read the court documents and the documents her father asked her to sign, which he used to trick her.
Paul also told Alicia that a court order existed forbidding Jessica from having frequent contact with her mother, and in truth, he stretched the truth to make the circumstances appear far worse.
Perhaps the saving grace for Jessica was hearing her daughter say, “Mom, I knew you were not as bad as he said,” I remember you being nice to both Dad and me, but Dad seemed to hate you, and I believed what he told me. Jessica said as she recalled Alicia’s statements.
Jessica mentioned Paul’s sister was the only person in Paul’s family who sent photos of Alicia, and often the sister would update her about Alicia. She often received report cards from Paul’s sister and much more.
Paul’s “Will” provides college money for Alicia and a sealed letter for Alicia to read on her 16th birthday. Paul had a $500,000.00 life insurance policy, and the will dictated $250,000.00 would go to Alicia, and $250,000.00 would go to his sister.
Out of love and kindness, Paul’s sister gave Jessica half of what she received and passed along the check to Jessica when she arrived in Miami, FL.
Isn’t it ironic that Paul’s hatefulness and abuse from Parental Alienation were reconciled without his knowledge?
May we celebrate Jessica and Alicia’s reunion, and I genuinely wish them the best.

Overcome Parental Alienation, my daughter, Alexis, first became alienated from me when she was just three years old. I later won shared physical custody but suffered significant health issues soon after, and the alienation returned. My experience has me now dedicated to helping parents who endure Parental Alienation. I present a weekly article posted Fridays at 8:00 am EST. You can join for free.
